Our story

The project all started back in France, when Hugo, Co-founder & CEO, won the Startup Challenge at the business school him and I were studying at. Upon his victory, an investor who had attended the presentation, and liked Hugo's profile, suggested that he met with a young Champagne startup: Ambassade 1927.

After meeting with the already well established Champagne distribution startup, an idea sparked. Ambassade 1927, who had plans of exporting their production abroad, asked Hugo to create an importation business in Boston, so they could penetrate the American market more easily. A mutual agreement led to the beginning of this project.

Hugo asked me to join him in this adventure, which I accepted under one condition: that the design of bottle be changed and adapted to the American market. Ambassade 1927 was more than glad about this suggestion, and dedicated a part of their Champagne production to us so that we could create an entirely new brand.

One thing led to another and we now have plans of including other different wines and champagnes into our ecosystem. We are proud of the heritage that made us what we are today and want to harness its full potential by making Scint Alcohols the go-to place for modern beverages.
